Serving God!
"Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them." (John 13:14-17)
Christ invites us to a life of service after His example, living out faith in response to the love of God. By serving others in the community and the world, we experience God at work in our neighborhood. Because of God’s prior love, acceptance, and forgiveness of us, we are called to respond with acts of love, justice, and mercy toward others, honoring the dignity of all persons.
